Meet the New Honda Passport TrailSport

Honda revived the Passport nameplate a few years ago and the automaker's intentions were clear: build a functional, adaptable SUV that's perfect for people seeking adventure. The Passport has delivered on that intention. For 2022, though, Honda has taken it a step further with the Honda Passport TrailSport. This adventure-ready SUV packs a punch without being "too much" when you're driving around town.

Rugged Design

All Passport models got a facelift for the new year, but the TrailSport still stands out among the rest due to its rugged design aesthetic. It looks like it belongs on the trail. A new TrailSport logo isn't all that sets this model apart. The unique grille pairs well with the aggressive front and rear bumpers. Skid plates hint at the Passport TrailSport's capability and the 18-inch wheels with off-road suitable tires round out the look. Roof rails offer a place to store gear (or add on a rooftop tent!).

Off-Road Capability

We already mentioned the striking design and skid plates that protect the Passport TrailSport, but the really impressive part isn't as visible. The TrailSport features standard i-VTM4® all-wheel drive, which gives it plenty of traction on a variety of surfaces. The additional 10mm in track width improves the Passport's overall stability, an important aspect on uneven terrain. The Intelligent Traction Management System offers different driving modes to make navigating tricky terrain easier.

Unique Interior

Honda added touches to the interior of the TrailSport model to make sure you felt at home, no matter where the trail takes you. Contrast stitching on the leather-trimmed upholstery adds a lavish touch. Amber interior lighting and embroidered TrailSport logos give the interior a unique touch. Of course, there are so many other amazing interior features on the TrailSport like heated front seats, tri-zone climate control, underfloor storage, and a one-touch moonroof.
